the billing section in eggmed helps you track money owed, investigate discrepancies, and manage your entire billing workflow in one place it brings together accounts receivable, invoices, claims, payments, and reconciliation tools so you always know what’s been billed, paid, and still outstanding you can access this section from billing → overview what you see on the billing overview page total ar outstanding this shows the total amount currently owed to your practice across all clients and payers it includes unpaid balances from invoices, claims, and partially paid services use this number to quickly understand your overall accounts receivable invoices in aging this shows how many invoices are still unpaid and groups them by how long they’ve been outstanding (aging) click view aging report to see detailed breakdowns by date range and client balance discrepancies this section highlights accounts where the cached balance does not match the calculated balance discrepancies can occur due to manual adjustments partial allocations recent changes not yet reconciled click review discrepancies or reconcile to investigate and correct them aging summary the aging summary breaks down outstanding balances by time period current 1–30 days 31–60 days 61–90 days 90+ days this helps you identify overdue balances and prioritize follow up click full report to see all invoices included in each category balance discrepancies table this table lists specific accounts with mismatched balances and shows account id difference calculated balance cached balance use this view to audit and resolve inconsistencies before reporting or follow ups quick actions the quick actions section provides shortcuts to common billing workflows billing accounts view and manage individual client billing accounts and balances invoices create, send, and manage invoices for services provided payments post and allocate insurance and patient payments reports & reconcile access aging reports and resolve balance discrepancies billing settings configure billing profiles, fee schedules, payment providers, and billing rules
