locations let you manage the physical or virtual places where your organization provides services, such as clinics, offices, or telehealth hubs w hat locations are used for in eggmed, locations are used to organize services by office or site associate appointments and sessions with a specific location store contact and address information for each site support billing, reporting, and documentation accuracy you can create as many locations as needed for your organization w here to manage locations locations are managed at the organization level to access them go to settings under organization , click locations this page shows a list of all locations in your organization v iewing your locations on the locations page, you can see location name street address city and state zip or postal code phone number status (active or inactive) which location is marked as primary you can also search locations using the search bar h ow to add a new location go to settings โ locations click add location in the create location panel, enter the location details location name status choose whether the location is active primary location enable this if the location should be the default for your organization address street address address line 2 (optional) city state country zip or postal code contact information phone number fax (optional) email click create location the new location is added to your organization s etting a primary location one location can be marked as the primary location the primary location is typically the main office the default location used for new records you can change the primary location at any time by editing a location e diting or deleting a location from the locations list, you can click the edit icon to update location details click the delete icon to remove a location inactive or unused locations can be removed to keep your organization organized i mportant things to know locations are shared across the entire organization deleting a location may affect records that reference it keeping locations up to date helps ensure accurate scheduling and billing
