๐ payment settings eggmed provides a complete suite of tools to manage your payments, subscriptions, and insurance related billing this settings section includes subscription payment settings payouts insurance billing letโs break each one down 1\ subscription this section displays all information related to your active plan your plan name billing cycle monthly or yearly cost (usd) next billing date if you choose to cancel your subscription, click the button cancel 2\ payment settings manage how you pay for your subscription or future upgrades eggmed uses stripe to ensure fast and secure transactions you can add a new payment method by clicking the + add new payment method button stored cards will be used for billing and will speed up your checkout process 3\ payouts this section shows how you receive client payments eggmed uses stripe to manage payouts, which are secure fast accept most debit/credit cards may vary by region payout details receiving bank routing number account number (partially masked for security) payout status charges status click manage payouts to access your full stripe dashboard 4\ insurance at the top of the insurance tab, you'll find high level configuration options that control how claims are submitted insurance features (toggle) enable or disable insurance features entirely when enabled, youโll be able to collect insurance details, create claims, and track insurance payments switch this on to see the rest of the interface include multiple diagnosis in claims (toggle) allows you to add more than one diagnosis in box 21 of the cms 1500 form show location in claim (toggle) when enabled, the service facility address will be shown in box 31 of the cms 1500 form tax id or ssn (field) required for claim submissions enter your tax identification number or social security number organization npi (field) enter your organization's national provider identifier (npi) number once youโve configured your general insurance settings, you can manage 3 additional areas billing profiles insurance payers rule builder billing profiles this tab allows you to define how you bill under insurance individually or under an organization each entry shows provider or organization name location address npi number taxonomy code labels individual / organization, and default profile you can click edit to update a billing profile set one as the default add a new profile using the add button delete a profile if needed insurance payers this tab lets you manage the insurance payers you're submitting claims to payer table shows payer id payer name claim filing enrollment status era enrollment status adding a payer click + add from available payers button a sidebar popup appears with a searchable list remove and add the payers of your choosing click finish to save your selected payers rule builder this is where you create custom logic rules to automate claim workflows rule table shows rule name (e g , "telehealth 45 min psychotherapy โ medicaid") duration impact outputs (e g , cpt code) triggered workflow last edited status (active/inactive) validation (valid/invalid) from the three dot action menu , you can view rule remove rule creating a new rule click create rule a sidebar will appear with rule creation fields fill in rule name rule description logic if the following conditions are met (select from dropdowns) then the following actions are taken (select from dropdowns) 5\ billing this section has 3 key tabs general billing , bill layout , and superbills general billing bill due date set the number of days clients have to pay (default 1 day) no show fee enable and set pricing for missed sessions auto pay disabled by default when enabled, charges unpaid invoices daily (12โ1 am pst) uses client credit first client access to billing docs set preferences for what clients can access, and how they are notified superbills , invoices , statements choose delivery via email or text define how many hours after issuance clients are notified option to set automated reminders bill layout customize what appears on your invoices and statements include logo (toggle) service description use cpt codes or set a custom label (e g , โcounseling sessionโ) include diagnosis code (toggle) address display provider address practice address custom address practice name display use practice name exclude name use a custom name superbill tab control how and when superbills are generated superbill generation manual after each session after 30 days monthly (select month) make payments to choose how the recipient is labeled on superbills client provider practice
