eggmed's built in note taking feature helps you document sessions efficiently using industry standard formats note this article covers manual note taking there are two workflows based on your provider role solo provider supervisor & supervisee 1\ solo provider workflow if you're a solo practitioner (no supervision layer), note taking is simple and direct how it works open the session from your schedule choose your note type from the dropdown list soap dbt progress note chart pie girp pirp birp soapie free notes dap complete your session note click save no review steps or status tracking are needed, solo providers manage their notes independently 2\ supervisor & supervisee workflow in group practices, eggmed enables a collaborative review process between supervisees and their supervisors step 1 supervisee creates the note open the session from the schedule choose a note type from the dropdown enter the session note click save the note will be marked as draft to prepare the note for review click sign enter your signature click confirm and lock notes 🔒 once signed, the note status updates to submitted for review and is automatically sent to your supervisor for approval step 2 supervisor reviews notes supervisors can find pending notes in the schedule interface and click review notes button once you click the review notes button, a sidebar will open displaying all notes pending review simply click review button next to the note you'd like to open and assess from there, the supervisor has three options ✅ accept note signs and finalizes the note status becomes completed 🔒 the note is locked and cannot be edited unless manually unlocked 🚩 flag for modifications clicks return for edits button status updates to returned for edits adds feedback via the comments panel ✏️ modify directly opens the supervisee's note makes edits signs and finalizes it directly step 3 revision loop if edits are requested open the session unlock the note apply the supervisor's feedback resubmit by signing and locking again you can also check audits to view who accessed or edited the note and when this process continues until the note is approved and marked completed note statuses explained draft supervisee is still working on it submitted for review sent to supervisor returned for edits rejected with comments completed accepted and finalized
