๐ the finances tab is divided into three subtabs all , self pay , and insurance in this article, weโll focus on the insurance subtab what is the insurance tab? the insurance tab filters and displays only the sessions that are billed through an insurance payer itโs ideal for managing insurance related claims and tracking the status of those payments separately from self pay activity table overview this table includes the following columns client โ the clientโs full name service date โ when the session took place service โ the type of service delivered amount โ total billed amount for that session payment status โ status of the payment (e g , paid, pending, denied) payer โ the insurance provider responsible for the payment a create button appears at the top right, allowing you to create invoice create invoice create superbill create superbill create claim (cms 1500) filters and tools at the top of the insurance tab, youโll find a date filter โ narrow your results by selecting a specific date or date range a search bar โ search by the clientโs name a payment status filter โ filter sessions based on their current payment status these tools help you quickly find sessions tied to specific payers or time periods
